Why would you want a Kindle?

If you like undivided attention when reading, then the Kindle is for you. When reading from a smartphone or a tablet, there’s usually an urge from us to switch attention especially when some idea pops up in our head that we want to search and learn more on the Internet.
Reading on specialize device like Kindle will help you curb your urges to task- switch since it will constraint you to reading.
I advise having a notebook or pen and paper ready instead. Because you can jot down easily and look them up later to avoid breaking the flow of reading.
The Kindle’s note-taking feature is slow and lagging. Therefore I wouldn’t count on that when you want to jot down fast. The highlighting is impressive though.
Carry all your books
Reading technical books all day will exhaust you. So it’s nice when you can switch to lighter reading whenever you’re feeling low. Thus, having the ability to swap and read anything from your Kindle that suits your level of attention and energy is a must.
Buy a good cover and protect your Kindle. I can’t count how many gadgets I have worn down fast because I was not careful in handling them. Having a sturdy cover is well suited for picking it up and shoving it fast into your backpack.
Read anywhere or anytime of day
The ability to read anywhere from dark to a bright light condition is an indispensable feature.
On daytime, I wouldn’t go looking for a dimmer condition. Once, I was outside in a parking lot and that feeling that you can read standing on broad daylight was never cool when you’re using a smartphone! The text is clear and it looks like I’m reading on a real book.
On bedtime, the bright screen will not be annoying if you have a partner trying to sleep. Plus, it will not mess with your cortisol level so you can sleep better.

Overall, If you like reading, love your eyes, like having all your books with you and don’t want them worn out while being able to read anywhere and anytime then the Kindle might be the perfect device for you.
